The Art of Sacred Sound

Course Overview

The Art of Sacred Sound is an introductory training in the foundations of sacred sound, working with Himalayan Singing Bowls.

Course Description

This course uniquely combines Himalayan singing bowl practice, offering a comprehensive approach to sound healing. Through the therapeutic use of singing bowls, participants learn how to support deep relaxation, reduce stress, and cultivate a sense of vitality and wellbeing in themselves and others.

The training introduces singing bowls, sound-based space clearing techniques. Together, these practices provide a solid foundation for facilitating sound baths and incorporating sacred sound into yoga classes, therapeutic settings, and personal practice.

Anne invites you to explore and develop your natural healing capacity and creative expression through sacred sound, The course explores the essence of sound through embodied experience learning to play the singing bowl with ease,  and understand how vibration affects the body. Participants will also refine their listening and auditory awareness skills.

The primary instrument used throughout the course is the Himalayan singing bowl (Goddess Bowl), which is explored as a sonic diagnostic tool through gentle scanning of the body.

Practical Application

You will learn how to:

  • Create and facilitate a sound bath

  • Integrate sacred sound into yoga classes and holistic practices

  • Use sound to support Savasana and deep relaxation

Participants will learn how to play and place singing bowls directly on the body’s chakras, and weave these skills organically into a healing Savasana sound bath. The training fosters connection within an evolving sacred sound community.

No previous experience is required, and the course is open to students who are hard of hearing.

What Students Are Saying

“I have only the highest praise for Anne Malone and her Sacred Sound course. It was one of the most enjoyable and beneficial courses I have ever attended. Every session felt like a mini retreat. Anne’s warmth and sense of humour made the experience both comfortable and inspiring. I now confidently offer sound baths and bring new elements into my yoga classes, especially during Savasana. If you are considering this course, don’t hesitate you will enjoy every second.”
