Oasis of Sound in The Isle of Man . Brightlife Learning Centre & Spa
Anne is looking forward to hosting a Sound Healing & Mantra Weekend Retreat at the Brightlife Learning Centre & Spa on the Isle of Man in June 2020.
Throughout the weekend we will explore and experience the art of sacred sound healing, refining and deepening the techniques of playing singing bowls, shamanic drums, chimes and Sansula, their application and placement; reconnecting with our voice through vocal toning, aural tuning and Mantra singing; creating a Sound Bath; Space Clearing with Sound.
With the introduction of each new instrument, vocal technique and skill, we will focus on experiencing the sound and its effect upon the body, followed by a demonstration of the technique, followed by hands on practice. Working in small groups, we will practice and explore, constantly refining these newly learnt skills.
Sacred Sound is a simple yet profound way to connect with the core of our being, and tune our body at a cellular level through the gentleness of its resonance.
Sound healing is the practice of using audio tones and vibrational frequencies to repair damaged tissue and cells within the body. It works on the basis that all matter is vibrating at specific frequencies, and sickness, disease, depression and stress causes human beings to vibrate at a lower frequency.
Playing tones that promote healing, happiness and vitality will allow DNA strands to repair themselves, several scientific studies have been conducted on the potential healing benefits of audio sound frequencies.
